The KU women’s volleyball team will host the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. Kansas received the number 11 overall seed and will play Cleveland State on Friday at Allen Fieldhouse.

Carolyn Davis, point guard for the KU women’s basketball team, scored her 1,400th point for the Jayhawks in a 58-48 win over Creighton on Sunday. She scored 12 points in the game, to reach 1,400 points exactly.

Eudora High School fell 21-0 to Holton in the 4A football state championship game on Saturday. The Cardinals finished the year with a 12-2 record. This is the second straight season Eudora has lost 21-0 in the title game.
