The Kansas baseball team hosted the inaugural Floyd Temple Alumni Game last Saturday. Temple, who passed away earlier this year, is KU’s all-time winningest coach. 50 former players took part in the game, which was held at Hoglund Ballpark.

The Kansas football team lost 21-17 to Texas on Saturday in the 100th annual homecoming game for the Jayhawks. The Longhorns scored with only 12 seconds left in the game to steal the victory from the Jayhawks, who had taken the lead by a field goal with under two minutes to play.

Veritas Christian Academy won the state volleyball championship on Sunday, their second title in the last three seasons. They finished the season 33-3, a school record for wins.
