Frank Mason, a 5-foot-11 point guard from Woodstock, VA has committed to play basketball for KU next year. He is the 131st ranked player in the class of 2013.

Former KU basketball players Wayne Simien and Bud Stallworth and former football player David Jaynes were inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Sunday in Wichita. These three Jayhawks are part of a nine-person inductee class, which is the 51st in the Hall of Fames’ history.

KU mens golfer Chris Gilbert finished 11th individually and the team finished in 10th place overall at the Brickyard Collegiate Invitational at Riverside Country Club on Sunday. The team’s final event of the fall will be the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, NM October 22-23.
