Kansas has restructured its contract with head basketball coach Bill Self. He will be with the Jayhawks through the 2021-22 season. His new salary is worth $3.857 million per year, up from the previous $3.376 million. The total value is $53.32 million.

The KU men’s cross-country team won the Rim Rock Classic on Saturday for their second team title of the season. The women’s team took sixth place in their race.

KU track and field athlete and Olympic 4×400-meter gold medalist Diamond Dixon was honored at the state capitol by Governor Sam Brownback on Friday.
